Strong schools lead to strong communities.

That’s why we support this bond.

Hamilton School District is dedicated to providing an excellent educational experience for all students. Voters overwhelmingly gave the district authorization to sell the middle school property. So, the district is running a May 2025 bond to create a 4th-8th grade campus at the currently-owned Westview property.

The Westview building, currently housing UM Bitterroot, will be renovated and expanded for a 4th and 5th grade building. A new 6th-8th grade building will also be constructed. The two buildings will be connected by shared services spaces in order to reduce the overall square footage, and thus, the overall price of the project. The 4th/5th and 6th-8th grade groups will not interact within these shared spaces during the school day.

At a reduced cost from the 2023 bond by $20.5 million, this new project will consolidate campuses to use district resources wisely. If we don’t pass the bond now, the project costs will only continue to go up in the future.

Voting yes is an investment that extends far beyond the classroom. By coming together to support this bond, we demonstrate our shared commitment to the long-term prosperity of the community.
